#9: Give it Away

This 1991 video introduced most people to the delightful weirdness that is the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I don't think I've ever met anyone who hates the Chili Peppers - including my mother, who only likes country.
They performed this song on The Simpsons, where they were shown onstage in briefs (which was soon to be reduced to a sock for strategic cover). Whatever you think about the Chili Peppers' sanity, their music is fantastic, and this one's a gem.
