Dave Grohl, frontman of the Foo Fighters and former drummer for Nirvana, was interviewed in 2005 by Rolling Stone. They recently re-released that interview in anticipation of their newest album, Wasting Light. The Foo Fighters' new album, In Your Honor, had just been released four days ago, and Grohl had a lot to say about that. But he also had a lot to say about past experiences. This is a guy who's spanned a lifetime of iconic music - he was drummer for Nirvana and then went on to start his own very successful venture as singer for Foo. Grohl talked about little-known things, such as where he was when he learned that Nirvana bandmate Kurt Cobain had died. Check out the interview here. (Bonus: He has a really hilarious idea for a Brennivin ad!) Also, be sure to check out their new single, "Rope", posted this morning. As always, I'll put it up above.
