Red Hot Chili Peppers at Work on New Album

Flea posted this picture on Twitter this morning, with the caption "New guitarist JOSH KLINGHOFFER rocking out on the new record in the studio." They've been at work on this album since September 2010, and it's supposed to come out some time later this year. In my opinion, you can't really go up from Stadium Arcadium. With songs like "Hump de Bump", "Slow Cheetah", and "Desecration Smile", that had to be one of their best albums. But Klinghoffer is supposed to be an amazing guitarist in his own right, and has collaborated numerous times with John Frusciante, the Chili Peppers' former guitarist, so who knows? Maybe they've got something even more awesome in store. All I know is I can't wait for this album to come out.
